Congestion Management Process Stakeholder Group
Congestion Management Process Stakeholder Group was created following the adoption of the Congestion Management Process document on June 16, 2010. The Stakeholder Group consists of local planning staff, representatives of the area’s freight community, emergency management community, the area’s public school systems, and North Carolina Department of Transportation (NCDOT) staff. The Stakeholder Group would be tasked with working with Capital Area MPO (CAMPO) staff on:
- developing tasks for future Unified Planning Work Programs
- develop and manage the Corridor Improvement Program process
- prepare and present the “Status of the System Report” for preparation to the Technical Coordinating Committee and Executive Board
- provide input in the development of future long range transportation plans
- coordinate tasks with existing and future Council of Planning groups
